Get involved and make a difference

Cancer Education UK

Cancer knows no race, ethnicity, nationality or faith. At Cancer Education UK, we’re focused on raising cancer awareness within the Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugees (BAMER) and low socio-economic communities. The more we know, the stronger we grow.

Our mission

Our mission is to tackle inequalities in healthcare for patients with cancer who are disproportionately treated differently due to their race, their culture, or their background. We aim to drive positive change through education so that everyone has equal access to the healthcare and support they need.

How we work at Cancer Education UK

How we help

Awareness

We run awareness events and host webinars where we educate communities on the signs and symptoms of cancer, encourage testing and how people can help spread the word.

Support

We offer any kind of support we can for people who are going through cancer treatments, either helping to attend appointments, assistance with shopping and much more. Through partnerships, we currently provide reflexology & physiotherapy for all our patients at no charge.

Reintegration

Through our support network, we will do all we can to help reintegrate patients back into the community and workplace.
