Who are you?
Hey, I am Natalie, from Belfast! I recently finished my Marketing Masters, and when I am not volunteering I love shopping! Travelling (when we can) or out with friends.

What is your role in the charity?
I volunteer as a PR and Communications Officer. I feel very privileged to work with such a great team and help to promote Cancer Education UK. I have helped create some of the new and exciting campaigns this year, including our collaboration with Vicky Fox Yoga (Vicky is a fantastic London based yoga teacher who specialises in yoga for cancer patients). I have also helped to launch our amazing petition in which we are campaigning for other skin-toned prosthetics to be readily available for cancer patients in the UK. We need 10,000 signatures so please follow this link to find out more and sign our petition.

Why do you choose to be a volunteer?
I really wanted to get to use my creativity and upskill which has been very beneficial to me. I also feel very passionate about the charity and have learnt so much from volunteering.

What is your favourite thing about volunteering at CEUK?
I really enjoyed working on the Vision 100 packs, in which we donated products to a number of hospitals throughout the UK to patients receiving chemotherapy. Seeing the end result and how happy the hospitals and patients were, I felt delighted to be part of such a great initiative. It's also an exciting time for the charity and I look forward to seeing it grow this year and being part of that journey.
